Data downloads are free. An account exists so we know who is using the register, not to gate it.
What registering involves
An email address. That is it — no purchase order, no licence negotiation, no call.
Once confirmed, every layer in the catalogue is downloadable at full coverage, in both formats. There is no trimmed free tier and no paid tier above it.
Why an account at all
Three honest reasons.
To tell you when a release lands. Four times a year, with a note on what changed. Working from a stale extract without knowing it is the failure mode we most want to prevent.
To know which coverage matters. Municipal sources get layered into the base one at a time, and the order should be driven by where people are actually working.
Because we sell something else. Map hosting is the business. The data is free because it is how planners find out whether we know what we are doing. That is worth being direct about rather than pretending otherwise.
What we do not do with it
No reselling, no sharing with third parties, no advertising. You can delete the account and the address goes with it.
What you may do with the files
Broad internal use, including published reports. Attribution is required. Redistribution of the raw files is not permitted — see licensing, which is short.

Say so. Get in touch with the coverage you need and we will send it. The account is a convenience, not a condition.
